About

Danielle

Once upon a time, I believed I was alone in my struggles.

Yes. I was the only person in this entire world who had an eating disorder. No one could understand me or love me.  I was broken and unworthy.

I tried to hide it, but “struggling” was written across my face. My entire being screamed it.

So, I gave up on myself.

I succumbed to depression, anxiety, and my eating disorder until I hit rock-bottom.

I tried to hide it, but “struggling” was written across my face. My entire being screamed it.

So, I gave up on myself.

I succumbed to depression, anxiety, and my eating disorder until I hit rock-bottom.

When I was days shy of 26, I decided I would either get help or end it all. I was that low mentally and physically. I debated all night and ended up texting my parents early in the morning that I needed help.

Later that morning, I had a seizure.

When I started my recovery, I did a lot of reading about eating disorders, trying to figure out what I went through and was still going through. When I was in the thick of it, I was too scared to confess that I had an issue, and looking into it felt like an admission of guilt.

But in that research, I realized I wasn't alone in my struggles, and that discovery was life-changing.

Shortly after that, I started this journey so no one would ever feel "the alone and hopeless" I felt because that's a feeling that can make someone too embarrassed to get the help they need.

Now that I’m in recovery and a mother with three little girls of my own, I want to make YOU feel less alone in your motherhood struggles, too.

Because mothers hurt. We cry. We mess up. We struggle with our mental health. Because we are human and motherhood is not easy. That's right, and I'll say it louder for the people in the back. We are human beings, and this is hard!

And it doesn’t mean we’re bad moms that shouldn’t have kids because of those hurts. All humans struggle. So, if we love our kids and try every day regardless of what’s going on with us mentally or physically, we’re good moms.

And I hope whoever is reading this right now knows that you're not alone in whatever you're going through in motherhood.

Because somewhere there’s a mom just like you.

There are moms everywhere doing everything and not like they’re supposed to, but how they do every day to survive as humans.

It’s the real side of motherhood, and we’re all living it.

I also want to empower our kids with a lot of truths so they can be their imperfect happiest selves, and grow up to be kind, resilient humans who know they can conquer any struggle.

Living FULL means filling up our lives with passions, happiness, and experiences. A life where we fight our struggles because WE ARE WORTH IT and where we know we are not alone. A life FULL of hope.

I hope I can help you find your FULL.
